FundedByMe have used their crowdsourcing platform to select five of the participants to feature for pitches. Paying by SMS allows to pick the winner of the pitch.

UpUp - small gifts available for pickup in the retail chain, paid via mobile phone.

You pick a product, pay with mobile phone or cc, and the one you have decided to UPUP gets upped.

Shpare - Automatic matching. You fill out a profile, fill in keywords, and you are matched with a list of people to meet. If the other person is interested, the time is set up for you.  The business model is to sell the service to conferences, free for the end user.

Shoot It Live helps newspapers livepublish photos and video clips.

Skuffa share your present location with your friends on the web.

And the winner of the FundedByMe SMS voting was Shootitlive with a last second break-through at 375 SEK.

Best in Show Winner:

The Winner of Best in Show gets to be engraved forever in stone with the help of  Swedish Startup Saved in Stone. You get to engrave whatever you want on a granite mountain in Sweden.  In this case, they get to be engraved as best in show.

The winner was Mosync / Mobile development made easy. Open source cross-platform mobile SDK. Combine the power of C++ with ease of use and web technology.

Omnicloud - scalable  cloud hosting solution. Think cloubox - a dropbox-like easy hosting solution with the scalability of the cloud. Very very interesing, and they are in beta. Exciting that they have paying customers, a working product and are working on large-scale testing.  This one is ready to explode!

Gavagai - very hot right now - a service for mining information live , as it happens.

Gavagai's product, the high performance dynamic text analytics system, Ethersource, reads  text in a smart way. With Ethersource, Gavagai retrieves actionable intelligence from dynamic data. Basically it diggs for important information and finds important patterns. Check out their blog! Congratulations on the funding!
